Mrs. Ruth Marie Merrick Daulton

Mrs. Ruth Daulton, daughter of the late Lunar and Mary Jones Merrick, was born on December 09, 1929 and she departed this life in the presence of her family on Monday, May 11, 2009 having attained the age of 79 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Jesse O. Daulton, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, John S. (and Dianne) Daulton of Nancy, KY; six grandchildren, Jonathon (and Tiffany) Daulton of Waynesburg, KY, Dustin (and Beth) Daulton of Somerset, KY, Todd (and Amber) Daulton of Nancy, KY, Tyler Daulton of Nancy, KY, Angela Loveless of Somerset, KY and Robbie Cline of California; three great grandchildren, Whitney Loveless, Kaylie Daulton and Justin Daulton; three sisters, Elva Burton, Elizabeth (and Albert) Burton, and Charlotte Wheeldon, and one brother, Odell (and Nancy) Merrick all of Somerset, KY. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Mr. Daniel Daulton. Ruth was a longtime member of the White Oak Baptist Church where she taught the Toddler Sunday School for many years. She was a kind lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves a large host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing and, celebrate her home going. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the White Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Wilson, Dr. James Floyd and Rev. Reggie Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Ruth Daulton will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009 and she will lie in state at the White Oak Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 until after funeral services.
