Nina Jean Rodkey

Nina Jean Rodkey, 97 of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 16th, 1918, daughter of the late Charles & Minnie George Latham. Nina was united in marriage to William Rodkey Whom preceded her in death. She was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her nephews, Morgan & (Jodi) Long of Venice, FL, and Charles Lee & (Linda) Latham of the Shopville community; and a sister-in-law, Willene Latham. She is also survived by, her great nieces and nephews Becki & (Jerry) Childers, Beth & (Tim) Beshears, Sonny & (Kim) Long, Mark & (Shannon) Morris, Edwin & (Natlie) Sellers, Monica & (Denny) Halcomb, KC & (Paige) Latham. Survivors also include, great-great nieces and nephews, Cacia, Kerri, Dylan, Tyler, Jerrod, Caleb, Kylie, Parker, Shelbi, and Kylee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Ruth Latham Stringer, one of which died in infancy; and one brother, C.W. Latham, one brother-in-law, Jim Stringer. Due to the love and devotion of her many pets throughout her life the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pulaski Co. Humane Society. A graveside service will be held at the chapel of Lakeside Memorial Gardens at 11 AM Friday, March 25, 2016. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
