Stanley C, Cooper, age 78 of Ferguson, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the presence of his family.
He was born October 10, 1937 to the late Preston and Maggie Phelps Cooper of Cabin Hollow, KY, He was the youngest of seven “Cooper Brothers”.
Survivors include; his daughter, Debbie L. Cooper Wilson; one granddaughter, Nakeisha “Nikki” Sky (and Lance) Arthur; one great granddaughter, Madison B. Arthur; two brothers, Thurman Cooper and Frank (and Louise) Cooper and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Other than his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by two wives, Jacquelyn Jones Cooper, and Anne C. Cooper and four brothers, Paul, Roy, Ray, and Elmer Cooper.
Stanley graduated from Ferguson High School and served his country in the Kentucky National Guard. He then worked at Cooper Brothers Tire and Service Center over 15 years before retiring from Tecumseh Manufacturing.
Stanley loved life. He never saw a stranger and had a great sense of humor. He loved making people smile. He enjoyed Cars, Tractors, animal (especially dogs) and working in his garden. Stanley was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Somerset Masonic Lodge # 111 F & AM and the Ferguson Baptist Church.
Stanley will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Mr. Stanley cooper will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm.
