Barney Carter

Barney Lee Carter 81, of Whiteland, IN passed away February 23, 2016. He was born September, 27 1934 in Somerset, KY son of Oscar and Laura Carter, and he departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Indiana. He was retired from Navistar International Corp and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Southport, IN. He is preceded in death by his sons: Jeffery L and Timothy W Carter. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Carter; Children: Sherry Lynn Jordan (Mark E Jordan), Tracy Ann Gregory (Dave O Gregory), Mary Fisher (Freddy Carpenter) Larry Phelps (Tina Phelps). Siblings-Melvin Carter (Libby Carter), Lurene Skaggs; Grandchildren-Britney Watts, Amber Watts, Anthony Casada, Alexus Casada, Kevin Jordan (Laura), Jessie Fisher (Dannelle), Sheena Carter, Alyssa Carter, Shanna Carter and Jarron Carter and 5 Great Grandchildren. A funeral service for Mr. Barney Carter will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in the Bobbitt Cemetery. The family of Mr. Barney Carter will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Saturday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in Charge of all arrangements for Mr. Barney Carter.
