Phyllis Ann Pelfrey

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Pelfrey, age 75 of Somerset, Kentucky daughter of the late James and Mildred (Barnett) Hon was born on August 16, 1940 in Mears, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Willie Brown Jr.; one sister, Glenna Potter and one son-in-law, Bill Cowan. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (and Gary) Tucker of Somerset, one brother, Lonnie Hon of Richmond, one grandson, Willie (and Melissa) Cowan and two great-grandchildren, Graysen and Parker Cowan. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. Phyllis was retired as a caregiver from Oakwood, she loved her family and will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Sexton officiating. The family of Phyllis Pelfrey will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2016 after 3:00 p.m. until time for funeral services. A committal service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the MacPelah Cemetery in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
