Harold Beasley

Mr. Harold R. Beasley, age 89 of Somerset, son of the late Willie and Grace Persell Beasley was born on August 1, 1926 in Ferguson, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Irene (Phelps) Beasley, one son Gary Michael (and Kim) Beasley of Somerset, 6 grandchildren, Kelly Lynertel, Danielle Marie Brown, Matthew Harold Beasley, Morgan Johnston, Olivia Johnston and Seth Johnston. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, Nolan, Cooper, Kendall, Madelyn, Elliott and host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Other than his parents Harold was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Eugene Beasley. Harold was a member of East Somerset Baptist Church, he was retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years of service and a WWII veteran of the United States Marines. Harold loved UK basketball and going to the Cincinnati Reds games but most of all enjoyed his time he got to share with his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Darvie Fenison officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mr. Beasley will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
