Catherine Turpin Crew

Catherine Turpin Crew, 72, of Somerset, passed away Sunday, January 31st at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was a retired school teacher and professional seamstress. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Paul Wayne Crew, as well as three daughters, Mrs. Kelly Crew Rizzo of Baltimore, MD; Mrs. Trudy Crew Tarver of Somerset, KY and Mrs. Paula Crew Thorne of Somerset, KY. She is also survived by two grandsons, Mark and Ryan Thorne; a brother, Bill Turpin, of Princeton, IN; step-granddaughter, Stevie Tarver Garza, and two step-great grandchildren, Bella and Lyric Garza. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Ella Mae Turpin; her brothers, Chuck and Tip Turpin; and a beloved nephew, Kyle Turpin. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Pulaski County Humane Society. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at Mill Springs National Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Crew will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016.
