Mrs. Lenora Bea Price Farmer

Lenora Bea Hart Price Farmer, 89 of Somerset, KY passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Somerset. She was born May 22, 1926 in the Ocala community of Pulaski County, KY to William Nealie Hart and Lena Dora O’Neal Hart. She attended Silver Star School through the eighth grade, and worked for Roses Department store cafeteria, was a housewife, and also assisted her household with farming. She was a member of the Flat Lick Baptist Church and attended faithfully as long as her health would permit. She witnessed to anyone when she could and wanted everyone to go to church and above all, be saved. She loved her church, her flowers, quilts, and her family. It was a joy for her to be with her daughters and son-in-law, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Lenora was first united in marriage to Lindsay Lee Price. He preceded her in death. She was later married to Mr. M. F. Farmer, he also preceded her in death. Survivors include; three daughters, Francis Deloris (and Barney) Woodall, Georgia Alfreida Burnett and Vivian Kay Eaton all of Somerset, KY; four grandchildren, Dawna Wade (and Mark) Smiley, Shannon (and Tammy) Woodall, Jason (and Trina) Eaton and Justin (and Amanda) Burnett; five great grandchildren; Tyler (and Brittney) Wade, Travis Wade, Shantelle Woodall, RaeLynn Burnett and Leanna Burnett; two great-great grandchildren, Campbell Wade and Annistyn Wade; one sister, Faye Gilliland; one brother, William Nealie “Junior” Hart; three sisters-in-law, Beulah Hart, and Pauline (and Murrell) Stewart and Jean Hart Cook; and her very special pet, Gussie whom she loved very much. Other than her parents, and husbands, Lenora was also preceded in death by; one infant son, Hershel Lee Price; sons-in-law, William E. Burnett and Michael Wayne Eaton; brothers, Gerald, Denton, and Carl Hart; brother-in-law, Carl Lee Gilliland; sisters-in-law, Ann Hart, Loretta Hart and Pat Hart. Pallbearers for her funeral service will be Shannon Woodall, Jason Eaton, Justin Burnett, Tyler Wade, Travis Wade, Mark Smiley, Joey Price and Tommy Head. Lenora was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Ashley and Bro. Charles Keller officiating. Burial will follow in the Bobbitt Cemetery, The family of Lenora Farmer will receive friends Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bobbitt Cemetery, 2764 Dahl Road, Somerset, KY 42503 or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
