Patrick Earl Sexton, age 80, of Ferguson, KY went to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, on Thursday, December 24, 2015. He was born February 13, 1935 in Ferguson, KY, the son of the late Samuel and Mae Doolin Sexton. He was married to Fayrene (Smith) Sexton on December 27, 1957 in Ferguson, KY. Patrick was a graduate of Ferguson High School and attended Sue Bennett College. He later served in the United States Army. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; one brother, Charles Sexton, one sister-in-law, Nell Sexton, four sisters, Marjorie Boone, Stella Marie Holloway, Roberta Newell, and Arlene Schultian; and one brother-in-law, Claude Persell. Pat is survived by his wife of 57 years, Fayrene; two daughters, Christia (and Chuck) Luttrell, Karen (and Rodney) Branum; two granddaughters, Caitlyn Ann Luttrell and Kelsey Branum; two sisters, Wanda Persell and Margaret (and Dallas) Hafley; one brother, James (and Barbara) Sexton, and three brother-in-laws, James Holloway, Harold Newell, and Tom Boone. Patrick was a member of the Ferguson Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mr. Sexton will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
