Lorestia Watson

Lorestia Watson, of Science Hill, KY and daughter of the late Lester and Argola Anderson Harrison, was born at Beech Grove, KY on August 4, 1939 and she departed this life in the presence of her family on Saturday, April 4, 2009 having attained the age of 69 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Nolan Watson, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; three sons, Lee (and Alice) Harrison of Somerset, KY, Robert (and Susan) Watson, Jr. of Stanton, KY and James (and Melissa) Watson of Science Hill, KY; nine grandchildren, Christopher (and Christina) Pitts, Rachel (and Daniel) Howard, Joseph Watson, James Alan Watson, Kyle Watson, Tiara Watson, Kristina Watson, Thomas Bradley and Katie Edens; five great grandchildren, Trystan Watson, Cayden Watson, Nataleigh Underwood, Landon Brown, and Ciara Howard; two brothers, Bill and Kenny Harrison; three sisters, Lorene Abbott, Lucille Wolsey and Delores Morgan and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, David Watson; one daughter, Marcia Faye Watson; two brothers, John and Denny Harrison; and one sister, “Teeny” Waters. Lorestia worked as a nurses aide for many years, and she was a member of the Science Hill Christian Church. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Watson's Chapel Cemetery in Casey County, KY. The family of Lorestia Watson will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009.
