Mrs. Greta Lee Sellers Flynn

Greta Lee Sellers Flynn, daughter of the late Charlie and Lela New Sellers, was born on June 4, 1944 and she departed this life in the presence of her family on Sunday, April 5, 2009 having attained the age of 64 years. Survivors include; two sons, James ( and Theresa) Cole Jr. of Burnside, KY, and Timmy Cole (and Regina Powell) of Ferguson, KY; two daughters, Kim Clines of Ferguson, KY and Debbie Conatser (and Gerald Ping) of Ferguson, KY ; four grandchildren, Angie Flynn of Somerset, KY, Frankie Turner of Lexington, KY, April Turner of Bronston, KY and Danielle Cole of Burnside, KY; three great grandchildren, Preston Flynn, Hannah Flynn, and Desiree Turner; five brothers, Jim Sellers of Burnside, KY, Carol Sellers of Burnside, KY, Bernie Sellers of Somerset, KY, Bob (and Ruth) Sellers and Bill (and Barb) Sellers all of Ohio; one sister, Anna Gibson of Mt. Vernon, KY; a special friend, Robert, and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives who mourn her passing. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cole; one daughter, Pamela Cole; four grandchildren, Mary Cole, Amber Cole, Miranda Cole, and Amy Cole; and three sisters, Reba Hughes, Faye Brown, and Em Griffis. Greta was a kind lady who enjoyed her family and life. She was a person who took what life threw at her and she made the most of it. She adhered to the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing and celebrate her homegoing. Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 with Rev. Jason Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Greta Flynn will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.
