Rutha B. Phelps

Rutha B. Phelps, daughter of the late Charles and Florence Brinson, was born at Colo, KY on January 27, 1928 and she departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 having attained the age of 81 years. Rutha was united in marriage to Mr. James Phelps, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one brother, Noel Brinson of Somerset, KY; three sisters, Millie Meece, Ola Sears and Minnie Keeney all of Somerset, KY and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives who mourn her passing. Ruth loved to read and enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed laughter and received abundant joy while cutting up with family and friends. She adhered to the Baptist faith, and accepted Christ at an early age. She was active in her church and her attendance as long as her health would permit. She was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Meece officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Rutha B. Phelps will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Rutha B. Phelps.
