Maudie Vaught

Maudie Vaught, of Wilson Road, Somerset, KY and daughter of the late Rob and Lillie Moore Wheeler, was born on September 8, 1915 in Pulaski County, KY and she departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in Richmond, Indiana having attained the age of 93 years. Survivors include; two sons, Mike Vaught of Naomi, Kentucky and Frank Vaught of White Lily, KY; two daughters, Janet Stone of Hagerstown, Indiana, and Mildred Sears also of Indiana, 13 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, three sons, Donald “Pete” Vaught, Charles “Jackie” Vaught, and Gordon Lee “ Buddie” Vaught, one daughter, Jo Ann Stone, and one ½ brother, Ken Wheeler. Maudie was a homemaker and she adhered to the Baptist Faith. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and leaves a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Richard West and Bro. Wendell Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Maudie Vaught will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Friday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Maudie Vaught.
