Phyllis Isaacs

Mrs. Phyllis Abbott Isaacs, daughter of the late Henry and Lola Wilson Abbott, was born at Science Hill, KY on August 1, 1934 and she departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2009 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 74 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. David Isaacs on June 27, 1953 in Rossville, GA, he preceded her in death on March 24, 2004. Survivors include; three sons, Michael (and Gail) Isaacs of Lincolnton, NC, James (and Lisa) Isaacs of Somerset, KY and Mark (and Debbie) Isaacs of Somerset, KY; seven grandchildren, Brandon Isaacs, Erica Isaacs, Jacquline Isaacs, Amelia Isaacs, Deanna (and Adam) Campbell, Haley Isaacs, and Hannah Isaacs; two great grandchildren, Zachary Campbell and Reagan Campbell; and one sister, Pauline Gholson of Somerset, KY. Other than her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by; two brothers, Roland and Janice Abbott. She was a homemaker, artist and a member of the Oakhill Baptist Church Funeral services will be Thursday March 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakhill Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Brown and Michael Isaacs officiating, with burial to follow in the Oakhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday March 18, 2009 at Pulaski Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until time for services on Thursday March 19, 2009 at the church. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
