Doris Robinson Munsey

Doris R. Munsey, age 93 of Somerset, daughter of the late William M. and Sallie Bell Simpson Robinson, passed away on Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at the Britthaven Nursing Home in Somerset, KY following a lengthy illness. She was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Munsey, he preceded her in death. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; two brothers, Ben Wickersham and William E. Robinson;one sister, Janie Robinson Murphy; and one nephew, William Roy Murphy. She was a faithful member of the Somerset First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a pianist in the Primary Department for many years. She was a valued employee of the Somerset City Hospital where she served as Medical Librarian until her retirement. She is survived by; two nieces, Margaret Jane Robinson and Sally Ann Robinson McEnroe; and two nephews, W. E. Robinson Jr. and Ben R. Murphy. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family of Doris Munsey will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home after 12:00 noon Saturday, March 11, 2006 until after services at 2:00 p.m. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
