Roy G. Gossett

Mr. Roy G. Gossett, 73, of 16020 West Highway 80 Nancy. passed away Sunday, March 5th, 2006 at Lake Cumberland Reg. Hospital, Somerset, Ky. Mr Gossett was born in Cain Store, Ky. on January 8, 1933, the son of the late Clarence and Atha (Tarter) Gossett. He worked as a Farmer, served in the U.S. Navy as a SF1 and an E-6 in the Vietnam War and he was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Nancy, KY Roy was the husband of Glenda (Wilson) Gossett they were united in marriage on July 1, 1967, she survives; other survivors include; three sisters, Bernice Mathis of -Fairfield, OH., Lucy Johnson of -Augusta, GA., Phyllis Cox of -Loveland, OH.; 2 brothers, William Clarence Gossett of -Milford, OH., Bobby Joe Gossett of -Cain Store Community and several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was also preceded ind death by; two sisters, Illa Pavey & Mary York. Funeral Services for Mr. Roy Gossett will be held at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset, Ky, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 8th, with Bro. Harry Varn and Bro. Murrell Crockett officiating. Interment will follow at the Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, Ky. with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 38 The family of Mr. Roy Gossett will receive friends Tuesday, March 07, 2006 after 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
