Milton Leroy Brown, 80, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on May 1, 1935 in Aurora, IL; son of the late Walter L. and Dorothy L. Schuttler Brown. He was retired as the Vice President of National Metalware in Aurora, IL. He spent 16 years on the Pulaski Co. Water Board, and was the Treasurer of White Oak Dock Association for 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and people. He attended Okolona Baptist Church in Nancy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Mullins Brown; two sons, Richard & (Carla) Brown of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Tim & (Deborah) Berkhouse of Lefthand, W.V.; four daughters, Susan Salazar, Mary Lou & (Harold) Taylor, and Elizabeth & (Randy Cormack) all of Salina, Kansas, and Lisa & (Rob) Cope of Easley, South Carolina; two sisters, Judith Marie & (Budd) Hargis of Aurora, Colorado, and Dorothea & (Jeff) McKinney of Peru, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, a special brother-in-law, Rich Hauser, a sister-in-law, Pete Venida Hauser for which we are thankful they were there to help us.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Bradshaw officiating.
Interment will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
