Charles Sandusky

Charles Sandusky, 79 was born on February 2, 1936 to the late Hovie and Mary (Hatcher) Sandusky in Monticello, Kentucky and entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. He was a faithful member of Davis Chapel AME Church. He graduated from Dunbar High School in 1955. He was longtime employee at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Charles was a devoted husband to Roberta (Mills) Sandusky for 54 years. He was survived by his 3 children; Debra (and Terrence) Tichenor of Lexington, Kentucky, Charlotte Sandusky of Somerset, Kentucky and Marcus Sandusky of Lexington, Kentucky , 4 grandchildren; Shavonda (and Darayll) Chestnut of Lexington, Kentucky, Ashlee (and Justin) Wiese of Lexington, Kentucky, Latoya Stigall of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Tyler Sandusky of Lexington, 2 great-grandchildren Darayll Chestnut II and Hunter Wiese of Lexington, Kentucky and many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Sandusky, daughter Jennifer Renee Sandusky, siblings, Minnie Mae Sandusky, Cornell Sandusky, George Sandusky, Joe Thomas Sandusky and Paul Sandusky, niece Vicki Thomas and nephew Tommy Sandusky. The family of Charles Sandusky wishes to express our most sincere gratitude for all the many acts of kindness and concern extended to us in recognition of our loved one who departed this life. These gestures of love shall forever remain within our hearts and minds. Our hope is that God will richly reward you for your efforts, from the family. In Jesus name Amen. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 after 11 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Charles Sandusky.
