Janice Lyvonne Meece

Mrs. Janice Lyvonne Meece, age 60 of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of Willene (Todd) Powers and the late William Emery Powers Jr. was born on November 4, 1954 in Quail, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, William Emery Powers Jr.; and one brother, William Dwayne Powers. Janice is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Darrell Wayne Meece; one son, Daryn Wayne Meece of Somerset; one daughter, Francis Lyvonne Mounce Taylor and her husband Tommy of Brodhead; one sister, Judy Lee Crank of Crab Orchard; one sister-in-law, Barbara Whitis; two grandchildren, Megan Taylor Pitman and her husband Derek, Bentley Taylor and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing. Janice was a welder at TTAI and enjoyed knitting, reading and social media. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Zandall Hastey and Bro. Charles Meece officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 after 5 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
