Joannie F. Adams

Joannie F. Adams, age 74 of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Florence Polling Adams and John M. Adams Sr. was born on August 1, 1941 in Marion, Ohio and departed this life on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley; a brother, Eddie; nephew, John M. Adams III; great nephew, Jeremy Adams and her parents. Joannie was survived by her twin brother, John M. Adams Jr. and wife Kathy; nephews, Randy and wife Brenda, Rick Adams, and Tami Adams; great nephew, Randy Jay Adams and wife Amanda; great nieces, Michele Adams, Crystal Adams Smith; great-great nieces Alyssa Arnett, Autumn Smith; great-great nephews, Hayden, Cohen, and Army Adams, Troy Arnett and Jaden Smith. She was a graduate of Richwood High School in 1959 and worked at Dana Corporation in Lima, Ohio then after moving to Kentucky she worked at Lifeline taking calls and sending nurses where needed. She was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She loved her pets, family Mystery Book Club at the local library and watching Nascar with her twin brother. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Amundson II officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 after 4 p.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Price Cemetery in Essex, Ohio. With Bro. Matt Black officiating. In lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Human Society of Pulaski County, or Project 58:10 in care of High Street Baptist Church.
