Mr. James Lee "Jim" Flowers, of Little Redding Road, Bronston, KY passed away on February 28, 2006.
He was born in Monticello, KY on July 14, 1940, the son of the late Rupert and Polly Davis Flowers. He was employed at Burnside Marina for many years and for the past several years had owned and operated his own Marine Repair Shop. He was well-known for his mechanical abilities and willingness to help others. He was a graduate of Burnside High School and he adhered to the Methodist Faith. He served his country in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Fitzgerald Flowers; a son, James Lee "Jimmy" Flowers, Jr. and a daughter-in-law,Lisa Flowers of New Palistine, IN andone step-daughter, Rita Setness of Nicholasville, KY; and two granddaughters, Ashtin and Caitlin Flowers of New Palistine, IN; also three step-grandchildren, Brandon Copus, Jonathon Copus and Zachary Setness of Nicholasville, KY; a niece, Wendy Wallace; a nephew, Bruce Flowers; the following brothers and sisters-in-law, Delno (and becky) Fitzgerald, Howard (and Karen) Fitzgerald, Nelva Fitzgerald, Earlene F. (and Steve) Green, ruth (and Jimmy) Troxtell, and Brent Fitzgerald; a special friend; Ralph Reynolds, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; two sisters, Lucille Wallace and betty flowers, a sister who died in infancy; his brother, George William "Bill" Flowers; and one nephew, Barry Flowers.
Funeral services for Mr. James Lee "Jim" Flowers will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bronston Baptist Church Cemetery.
