Mrs. Emma Haynes, daughter of the late Albert Burns and Mary Clark Burns Wadkins, was born June 23, 1943, and she departed this life September 9, 2015 at her residence having attained the age of 72 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Larry Haynes for 55 years until his death in 2013. Survivors include; four sons, Larry Haynes, Jr. (and Pam), Roger Haynes (and life partner Robert Kinder) , Fayette Haynes (and Michelle Cooper) and Terry Foley; five daughters, Sherry Burkett (and Ronald Gleason), Connie Emerson (and Jimmy), Tammy Whitaker (and Chuck), Ruby Brown (and Terry) and Lora West; one sister, Alberta (and Ronnie) Bunton; thirty-eight grandchildren, Forty-three great grandchildren, and a very special pet, Peebles.
Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; one brother, Jimmy Burns, one son-in-law, Bussy Burkett, and her step-father, Jack Wadkins.
Emma was a kind Christian lady and a member of the New Enterprise Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
