Ona Baker

Ona Baker, daughter of the late O.C. and Ida Fulcher Tomlinson was born May 19, 1931 in Pulaski County, Kentucky and departed this life on August 16, 2015 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 84 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Jewell Baker, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; two children, Carolyn (and Ricky) McWhorter of Hogansville, GA and Charles Childers of Burnside, Kentucky; one brother, Norman Tomlinson of Somerset, Kentucky; four grandchildren, D.J. Creamer, Joey Creamer, Jason Childress, and Brandon Blankenship; and six great grandchildren, Sydney Creamer, Trace Creamer, Seth Creamer, Chase Creamer, Tyler Woods Creamer and Kami Childress. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; three brothers, Oscar, Clell, and Robert Tomlinson, and two sisters, Pauline Fowler, and Carlie Coomer. Ona worked in the long term care industry for many years, she was a member of the Jordon Baptist Church of Burnside, Kentucky. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Hill Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Ona Baker will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
