Darinda Adams Ricica

Darinda Ricica, the daughter of Shirley Dorton Adams and the late Harold Adams, was born at McDowell, Kentucky on May 12, 1964, and she departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2015 having attained the age of 51 years. She was united in marriage to Peter Ricica on July 7, 1997 in Dayton, Ohio, he survives. Other survivors include her mother; one son, John Ricica of Burnside, Kentucky; one sister, Sherri (and Jim) Peterson of Dayton, Ohio; four nieces, Erin (and Russ) Clark, Ellen Poock, Emily Poock, and Michelle Ricica; two nephews, Brady (and Mary Ann) Adams, and Andrew Ricica, her mother-in-law, Carol Ricica, two brothers-in-law, Dan (and Lois) Ricica, and Steve Poock and a special brother, Russell Neville. Other than her father, she was also preceded in death by; one brother, Dion Adams, a sister-in-law, Linda Poock, her maternal grandparents, Homer and Gussie Dorton and her paternal grandparents, John and Oma Adams. Darinda was a very kind and loving person who loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Burnside Christian Church with Bro. Harlan Ogle officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the family of Darinda Ricica in her memory.
