Mr. Frank Gilmore “Bud” Vaught, age 79 of Somerset. KY passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015. He was born in Somerset, KY on May 17, 1936 to the late Robert Harlan and Eva Gilmore Vaught.
He is survived by two sons; Mark Vaught, Steve (and Hannah) Vaught, both of Somerset, one daughter; Robin (and Steven) Cravens of Liberty, KY, one sister; Virginia Lanier of Richmond, Virginia, four grandchildren, Zachary and Seth Vaught, Emma and Madeline Cravens. He also leaves behind 7 nieces and 7 nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; William “Bill” Vaught and Joe Robert Vaught, and three sisters; Evelyn Keeney, Elizabeth Wild, and Dorothy Hall.
Bud was a member, volunteer, groundskeeper, and past president of the Somerset Country Club, he also worked at the Highway Department and was a Surveyor and a veteran of the United States Army.
Visitation for Bud Vaught will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 after 5:00 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
Private interment will be held in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Family request expressions of sympathy be made to the First Christian Church of Somerset.
