Mrs. Elaine Walton, daughter of the late Cecil Fountain and Edith Marie Roark Hamm, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 29, 1934 and she departed this life on July 3, 2015 having attained the age of 81 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Walton, Jr. and they were happily married for 62 years before the Lord called her home. He survives.
Other survivors include; one daughter, Cecilia (and Terry) Walton Kelly; one son, Chuck (and Lisa) Walton; five grandchildren, Zachary Walton, Henry Walton, Bailey Shackleford, Emma (and Chris) Fechner, and Hannah Kelly; one brother, Rudy (and Sandy) Hamm; and one sister, Bonnie (and Lee) Phillippi.
Elaine was a member of the New Enterprise Baptist Church. Her life revolved around her family and her church. She enjoyed Square Dancing and was a founding member of the Lake Cumberland Squares. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Elaine Walton will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Elaine Walton will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 until time for services.
