Montie A. Daws

Montie Daws, age 88, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009, at Lake Cumberland Hospital. She is the widow of the late Emery Daws. She is survived by 2 sons; Edsel (and Jenny) Daws of Springboro, Ohio, and Ronald J. Daws of Huber Heights, Ohio, 1 daughter; Lelia Cris Slagle of Somerset, Kentucky, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Amos (and Nancy) Muse of Cincinnati, Ohio, Eventus (and Shirley) Muse and Willard (and Joann) Muse both of Somerset, Kentucky, 2 sister; Nova (and Wilbur) Oakes of Somerset, Kentucky and Leah Fern Hacker of Nancy, Kentucky. Montie was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Somerset, Kentucky and served as a volunteer for God’s Food Pantry for over 20 years. Funeral services for Montie will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 1:00p.m in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Routt officiating. The family of Mrs. Daws will receive friends on Monday, February 2, 2009 after 11:00a.m., until time of services in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to God’s Food Pantry of Somerset, Kentucky. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
