Mrs. Nellie Coleman Dunahoe

Nellie Dunahoe, daughter of the late Roy and Daisy Thornbury Coleman, was born June 7, 1928 at Kemper, KY, and she departed this life on June 20, 2015 in Radcliff, Kentucky having attained the age of 87 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Clarence Dunahoe, he preceded her in death. Survivors include her step-mother, Minnie Coleman; three daughters, Irene Greer, Jearaldine Williams, and Christine Bartoletta; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two brothers, Jackson and Raymond Coleman; and one sister, Opal Pembelton. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; four brothers, Teddy, Tommy, Troy and Delmer Coleman; and one step-sister, Barbara Sue. Nellie enjoyed cleaning. At a very young age her mother died, and she, being the oldest child, took on the responsibility of being both a mother and a sister to her younger siblings and extended family. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Nathan Coleman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum Chapel of Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Nellie Dunahoe will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday June 23, 2015 until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Nellie Dunahoe.
