Dr. Anita Marie Fackler-Waller

Dr. Anita Marie Fackler-Waller, age 56 of Somerset, Kentucky daughter of the late Donald A. Fackler and Fiana B. (Warfel) Hardig was born on September 8, 1958 in Tuscola, Illinois and departed this life on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at her residence in the presence of her family. She was united in marriage on December 29, 1984 to her beloved husband, Perry Waller. He survives as well as one son, Benjamin Waller and one daughter, Anna Waller; three siblings: Suzanne (and David) Moody of Tuscola, IL, Vicki Fackler of Somerset, KY, and Donald Fackler of Champaign, IL; two nieces: Holly (and Jason) Mills and Rachel Henderson both of Tuscola, IL; and stepfather, Dallas Hardig of Prairie City, IL. She graduated from the University of South Alabama as an Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society Member. She practiced at Gloucester Pediatrics in Gloucester, MA from 1991-2004, then she moved to Somerset to be closer to her family and practiced at Somerset Pediatrics and Adolescents Association. She was listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who from 2001-2004. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Somerset. She enjoyed music, being with family and friends, knitting, spinning, playing the flute, and she was also an avid reader. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Somerset at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen Brimer officiating. Burial will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama. Pallbearers will be: Brad Schoolcraft, Daniel Schambeau, Zeke Turner, Larry Sword, J.C. Woodworth, and Mark Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Cherice Patterson, Dr. Melissa Hansford, Dr. Lissette Garrett, Dr. Deanna Ball, and Kimberly King, APRN. The family of Dr. Anita Marie Fackler-Waller will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 after 10:00 a.m. until time for services at the church.
