Virginia Greer

Virginia Greer, daughter of the late Shirley Ray Stockton and Della Mae Bilbrey Stockton was born on February 11, 1934 in Livingston, Tennessee and she departed this life on May 18, 2015 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 81 years. She was united in marriage to Harold Lloyd Greer, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son; Stan Greer of Tallahassee, Florida, one daughter; Cheryl (and Jeff) Gover of Pleasant View, Tennessee, one brother; Keith Stockton of Livingston, Tennessee, five grandchildren; Rachael (and Eddie) Gregory, Cole Blevins, Mckala Blevins, Alexis Greer, and Trevor Greer. She is survived by two great-grandchildren; Kellan Gregory and Xavier Gregory, two nieces; Lisa McDaniel and Stephanie Presley, and son-in-law; Rodney Blevins of Eubank. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter; Nita Blevins. Ms. Greer was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church and was a member of Future Homemakers of America and Al-Anon. She was a retired school teacher. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be held in King Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. est in Jamestown, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
