Mr. Hobart Lee Hardwick

May 19, 1930 — April 24, 2015

Mr. Hobart Lee Hardwick, son of the late Hobart and Myrta Mercer Hardwick, was born at Kidder, KY on May 19, 1930 and he departed this life surrounded by his family on April 24, 2015 having attained the age of 84 years. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Keith Ramsey Hardwick, she survives. Other survivors include; two sons, Daniel (and Debbie) Hardwick of Florida, and Bill and (Debbie) Hardwick of Ohio; two daughters, Mary Ellen (and Joe) Dostvich and Louis Hardwick both of Ohio; four sisters, Marie Morrow, Fredia (and Marvin) Casada and Lois (and Waldo) Dick of Ohio and Bonnie Turpin of Kidder, KY; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; his first wife, Patricia Hardwick; his step-mother, Clella Hardwick; one son, John Hardwick and one daughter, Kathleen Helton as well as four brothers and two sisters. Lee was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, a Korean War Army Veteran and a member of the American legion Post # 38. He worked in construction when he was younger and his health was better. He was a loving person who will be missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 with Rev. Ulanda Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs national cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 38. The family of Mr. Hobart Lee Hardwick will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Monday. April 27th 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy to the Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund of Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Mr. Lee Hardwick with all funeral arrangements.
