Cora Christine Hammond

Cora Christine Hammond, age 93, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born on February 6, 1922, daughter of the late Emery and Ella Mayfield Canada. She was a co-owner of Welding Supply Company. Christine enjoyed attending church, her Sunday school class, and eating at Cracker Barrel. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by a special caretaker; Anna McKee, surviving sister-in-laws; Mae Beshears and Irene (Don) Morris, and she also leaves behind a host of special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Walter Hammond, two brothers; Clint Canada and Everett Canada, three sisters; Dorothy Wallace, Lena Wallace, and Josephine Sinnett. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 27, 2015 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Brown and Rev. Noel Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Ms. Cora Christine Hammons will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 11 AM until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
