Mr. Bobby Gossett

Mr. Bobby Gossett, son of the late Clarence “Shug” and Atha Susan Tarter Gossett, was born May 28, 1938 and he departed this life on April 7, 2015 having attained the age of 76 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Judy Powers Gossett, she preceded him in death on April 27, 2014. Survivors include one son, Joby (and Rita) Gossett of Nancy, Kentucky; one daughter, Joetta Gossett (and Steve Ball) of Nancy, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jordan Gossett and his fiancée, Samantha Etheridge, Christopher Lance (and Samantha) Minton and Brayden Gullett; two great grandchildren, Conner Minton and Jeremiah Gossett; one brother, William “Bill” Gossett of Ohio; and three sisters, Lucy Ann Johnson of Georgia, Phyllis Gossett and Bernice Mathis of Ohio. Other than his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by; one brother, Roy Gossett and two sisters, Ila Pavey and Mary York. Bobby was the owner and operator of Gossett’s Grocery for more than 38 years, he was also a carpenter, and a farmer. He enjoyed hunting mushrooms in the spring, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting year round. He was a member and Master Mason of the Mintonville Lodge # 392 F & AM. Bobby was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Murrell Crockett officiating. Burial will follow in the Cain Town Cemetery. The family of Mr. Bobby Gossett will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015. Masonic services will be performed at 5:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Pulaski Funeral Home by Mintonville Lodge # 392 F & AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Mintonville Masonic Lodge # 392 F & AM. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Mr. Bobby Gossett with all final arrangements.
