Orvetta McPheron Wilson

Mrs. Orvetta McPheron Wilson, age 74, daughter of the late Lawrence and Lena (Girdler) McPheron was born on March 30, 1941 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. Orvetta is survived by her husband: Billy D. Wilson, one daughter; Andrea Wilson (and Kevin) Gregory of Gallatin, Tennessee, two step children; B.D. (and Phyllis) Wilson and Connie (and Barry) Burks. Orvetta also leaves behind 3 sisters; Elizabeth Ann (and Charles) Hall, Patty (and Jerry) Maybrier, Lana McPheron all of Somerset, 2 granchildren; Alexandria Catherine Gregory, Chloe Ann Gregory and host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Orvetta was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and worked as a Teacher for 27 years for the Pulaski County School System. She also taught Adult Education for 10 years and most recently worked for 2 years as an Office Clerk at the Ferguson City Hall. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Wilson will receive friends on Sunday, April 5, 2015 after 6:00 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
