Mrs. Gabie "Micky" Mick

Mrs. Gabie “Micky” Farley Mick, daughter of the late John and Madge Conley Farley, was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on August 7, 1935 and she departed this life on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Georgia having attained the age of 79 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. John Mick, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; two children, Jon Mick and Terri Mick Lyndall; three grandchildren, Jessica (and Lucas) Boyd, Stuart (and Meghan) Lyndall and Morgan Lyndall; three great grandchildren, Braxton Boyd, Atticus Lyndall and Haylee Boyd; a brother-in-law, Ed (and Joyce) Mick; the following nephews and nieces, Jerry Mick, Shane Farley, Janeta Mick, Dawn Mick, and Kristen Farley, and a sister-in-law, June Mick. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ottus Farley. Gabie worked for 25 years at J.C. Penny and she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Gabie Mick will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015. In Lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett County, 660 Davis Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
