Mrs. Betty Jo Glover Hamm, daughter of the late Raymond and Zada Belle Mounce Glover was born in Pulaski County Kentucky on February 22, 1937 and she joined our Lord and Savior on March 27, 2015 while at the University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington Kentucky.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Herbert Randall Hamm. He preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, Michael A. (and Kim) Hamm of Riverview FL; Three daughters, Melinda L. Shunkwiler of Somerset, Kentucky, Vickie L. (and Darrell) Haight of Peoria, Arizona, Terry J. Harrison of Deltona, Florida; Nine grandchildren; Kristopher and Wesley Shunkwiler, Hagen Stone, Jerry Oliver, Darik and Seth Haight, Crystal Hamm, Brandy and Thomas Wilcox; Seven great grandchildren, Catherine Stone, Dawson Stone, , Braden Haight, Isla Haight, Randie Oliver, Jace Oliver, and Daniel Cartagena; Four sisters, Erma (Anna) Bradley of Somerset Kentucky, Henrietta Henderson of Somerset Kentucky, Peggy Meece of Somerset , Kentucky and Doris (and John) Disney of Ohio and Two brothers; Larry (and Irene) Glover of Somerset Kentucky and Tarry (and Kathy) Glover Versailles, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Glover, and Son in law Allen E. Harrison.
Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was baptized and a member of East Somerset Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to her children, and was involved with the Florida school system. Betty was a kind person who loved life and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
