Mr. Ronald Linkes

Ronald Linkes, son of the late Don and Althene Linkes was born on July 20, 1938 and he departed this life on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY having attained the age of 70 years. Ronald is united in marriage to Margaret Coomer Linkes, they were wed on October 21, 1996, she survives. He is also survived by one brother; Clifford (and Melissa) Linkes of Lexington, KY, one step-son, Robbie (and Karen) Belwood, three nieces, Debbie(and John) Rogers, Donna (and Mickey) Ray and Julie (and Bobby) Hamilton all of Somerset, KY,two special friends of the family, Shirley Gaddis and Malcom Coomer, one aunt, Laurene Phelps; one uncle, Mr. Clifford Randall, Jr., and the following great nephews and nieces, Ben (and Heather) Rogers, Samantha Rogers, Lauren Rogers, Michael (and Tara) Ray, Miranda (and Brian) Denney, and Jucas Hamilton and three step-grandchildren, Maggie, Jacob and Emily Belwood, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Other than his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Godby, and one step-son, Jay Lee Belwood. Ronald was a University of Kentucky Graduate, a U.S. Army Veteran,a Certified Public Accountant,and small businessman having been involved in several business enterprises like Advanced Lifeline Services. He was also a member of the East Somerset Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the East Somerset Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery. The family of Ronald Linkes will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 8th, 2008. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the University of KY ALS Clinic 138 Leader Ave., Lexington, KY 40506 in memory of Ronald Linkes and / or the East Somerset Baptist Church Music Department, Pumphouse Road, Somerset, KY 42501 Pulaski Funeral Home of Somerset, KY is honored to be in charge of all funeral arrangements of Mr. Ronald Linkes.
