Ms. Vernice Hardwick, daughter of the late John Wilson and Cynthia Pitman Black, was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on February 23, 1930 and she departed this life on February 4, 2015 in Somerset, Kentucky. She was a caregiver and a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church.
Survivors include; one daughter; Kathy (and Terry) Brown of Campbellsville, KY, one son; Robert Hardwick of Somerset, KY, five sisters; Kay Timmerman of Lincoln, Nebraska, Christine Asher of Somerset, KY, Maxine (and Barkley) Tackett of Winchester, KY, Midge (and Joe) Young of Inglewood, Ohio, and Patty Young of Loveland, Ohio.
Survivors also include five grandchildren; Shanna, Chad, Cristy, Corey, and Robbie, six great-grandchildren; Tristan, Josh, Sydney, Shelby, Mia, and Mason. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and one special friend; Fayrene Gilland.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Rufus Hardwick, one daughter; Janice Hardwick, and four brothers; Clyde Black, Bill Wilson, Junior Black, and Arnold Black.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Stacey officiating. Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery in Bronston.
The family of Ms. Vernice Hardwick will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
