Mr. Ray Erp, son of the late Elmer and Helen Sears Erp, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 2, 1931, and he departed this life in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, January 31, 2015 having attained the age of 83 years.
He was united in marriage to Mrs. Bertie Erp, she preceded him in death.
Survivors include; one son, Jackie (and Vicki) Erp of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Tammie Erp of Cincinnati, Ohio and Brenda (and David) Evans of Mason, Ohio; one brother, Vola Erp of Burlington, Kentucky; one sister, Retta B. Tomlinson of Somerset, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jamie Erp, Joshua Erp, and Christy Murphy; seven great grandchildren, Brittany Erp, Jordan Erp, Emma Erp, Joshua Erp, Jr., Riley Murphy, Nathan Murphy and Samuel Murphy; and one very special friend, Joyce Whittle of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ray was a retired construction worker for C.D. Maescher Company, and a member of the Colo Baptist Church. He was a kind person who loved family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Erp will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Meece officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Hill Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Erp will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, February 5, 2015.
