Ollie Faye Collins of Johnson City, Tennessee was called to be with her Jesus after being the best Angel on this earth. She was a very special Mom, Granny, and friend to everyone. She passed away on Saturday 18, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 3, 1941 in Pulaski KY.
She was survived by a very special son/grandson, Cody D Patterson, who was her pride and joy and wife Kristy N Patterson, who took care of her for the last four years of her life.
Also, very special cousins; Roger and Amy Ward and their kids and grandkids. She had one sister; Anna Marie Bray Decker of Nancy and a half-sister; Tammy Ray Bray Ballou of Bronston and Granddaughter Delana Patterson as well as a plethora of cousin’s nieces and nephews across United States. She has very special friends/ family from Piney Flats, TN. Patsy and Ricky Smith, April and Tim necessarily who has been her family for last four years of her life. Also special friend; Carol Ramsey of Pulaski.
She was preceded in death by her parents; late Ray Bray and Rutha Jane Surber Bray of. Son; Vincent D Patterson. Husband; Randal Ernest Collins, two brothers; Kenneth Bud Lee Bray and Raymond Lee Bray. In her earlier years of her life she was a member of Gravehill Baptist Church of Tateville. Now her churches were Haw Ridge Bible Church in Piney Flats, TN and Bloomingdale Church in Kingsport, TN. She loved both pastors. She loved reading her bible and she loved taking care of people. She loved kids, she loved watching her TV shows; Little House on the Prairie and Touched by Angels. She was very loved and will be missed every moment out of a day.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Seed Tick Cemetery.
