Pauline Decker

Georgia Pauline Decker, daughter of the late Teddy C. and Nora Whitaker Decker, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 25, 1928 and she departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 peacefully at her home in Somerset, KY surrounded by her loved ones. She was a lifelong resident of Somerset, Kentucky. She attended Union College in Barbourville, was a former teacher and homemaker, and a devoted caregiver to her parents until their deaths. Survivors include; one brother, Albert Decker of Locust Grove, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Janet Decker of Roswell, Georgia, and Ada Decker of Rogersville, Tennessee along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; five brothers, Herman Guy (and Beulah) Decker, Homer Decker, Augustus Quinton Decker, Delno Decker and Andy Decker; five sisters, Bonnie (and Clarence) Roy, Emma (and Claude) Pierce, Dotty (and Stewart) Dunbar, Sibyl (and Edward) Jessick, Dora Decker, and one sister-in-law, Edna Decker. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. James Merkel officiating. Burial will follow in the Decker Family Cemetery. The family of Ms. Georgia Pauline Decker will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.
