Norbert "Norb" Edward Sanders

Norbert “Norb” Edward Sanders, of Science Hill, age 83, son of the late Wolford “WL” L. and Grace Walters Sanders was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 28th, 1931 and departed this life on Sunday, January 25th, 2015 in Somerset, Kentucky. He was united in marriage to Sondra Sanders on March 23, 1995, she survives. Other survivors include; one son, Norbert Edward Sanders Jr. (Kitty) of Conway, Arkansas; three daughters, Ellen Lavern Johnson of Stillwater, Ok, Sharon (Virgil) Naugle of Mahomet, IL, and Joy (Mark) Bullock of Somerset, KY, two sisters; Marcia Vaught Morrow of Eubank, KY, and Paula (Paul) Vaught of Somerset, KY. Survivors also include nine Grandchildren; Matt (Shannon) Johnson, John (Amanda) Johnson, Sam (Abby) Johnson, Peter (Megan) Johnson, Sarah Jane Johnson, Megan Naugle, Clinton (Ally) Naugle, Drew Bullock, Holly Bullock, two Great-Grandchildren; Matalyn Johnson and Eli Johnson. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Norma Jean Sanders, and three brothers; Delaine Sanders, Fletcher Sanders, and Ted Sanders. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Science Hill. He was a dairy farmer as well as a school bus driver for the Pulaski County School System. He enjoyed square dancing, traveling to the beaches and Tennessee, gardening, raising blackberries and blueberries, and visiting his children. He was an honorary member of Lake Cumberland Square Dance Club as well as a member of Somerset Square Dance Club. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home on Friday, January 30th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29th, 2015 after 5:00 p.m. and on Friday, January, 30th until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Norbert Edward Sanders.
