Mrs. Wilma "Jackie" Collins

Wilma Jacqueline “Jackie” Collins, daughter of the late Raymond and Stella Higgins Payne, was born on October 21, 1929 in Harlan County, Kentucky and she departed this life on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 having attained the age of 79 years. She was united in marriage to Billy Collins, he survives. Other survivors include; two sons, Thurman Collins of Euclid, Ohio, and Phillip Collins of Burnside, KY; one daughter, Karen Miller of LeRoy, Ohio; one brother, Billy Payne of Rogersville, Tennessee, three sisters, Charlotte Morris and Phyllis Osborne of Corbin, KY and Glenna Russell of Flint, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Jackie was a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, cooking and flowers, and she was of the protestant faith. She was a kind lady who will be missed by all who knew her, and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. The family of “Jackie” Collins will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2008 The funeral services of Jackie Collins will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Hamp Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements of Mrs. Jackie Collins.
