Charles Edwin Goff, 84, of Cabin Hollow, KY, passed away Wed., December 31, 2014 at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation in Corbin, KY.
He was born April 10, 1930, a son of the late Oscar Eli Goff and Anna Hughes Goff of Cabin Hollow.
He was a US Army veteran, a farmer, mechanic, school bus driver, and a deacon at Pitman Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mary M. Phelps Goff, who he married June 2, 1946 in Somerset, KY and loved the rest of his life. Three sons, Terry (and Charlene) Goff of Concord, NC , Richard (and Naomi) Goff of Cabin Hollow and Gary Goff of Cabin Hollow, and a Daughter, Beverly Goff, of Cabin Hollow. Eight grandchildren , Abbygayle Goff, Winston Hall, Nathaniel Wesley, all of Cabin Hollow, Misty (and Brad) Wilkinson, of Kannapolis , NC, Michael Goff, of Lexington, KY , Andrew Perkins of Frankfort, IN, Emily Hogue and Summer Roberts of Science Hill, KY. and six great grandchildren, Derrick Goff, of Princeton, NJ , Ainsleigh and Braden Wilkinson of Kannapolis, NC, Serenity and Zacharei Hall of Nancy, KY and Alexis Perkins of Somerset, KY. and two nieces , Lois Davis of Ferguson, KY and Donna Thompson of Lexington, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Opal Meece.
Funeral services will be held at Pulaski Funeral Home Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Eggers officiating, burial will follow at lakeside Memorial Gardens with American Legion Post #38 providing military honors.
The family of Mr. Charles Edwin Goff will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM Monday, January 5, 2014.
