Willie D. "Bill" Sears

Mr. Willie D. “Bill” Sears, son of the late Ira Scott and Eddie Farmer Sears, was born at Poplarville, KY on March 25, 1928 and he departed this life on Monday, November 10, 2008 having attained the age of 80 years. He is survived by his wife, Lois Irene Hull Sears whom he married on July 2, 1948. Other survivors include; three children, Rebecca (and Bob) Eldridge, James (and Sherry) Sears, and Cindy (and Jeff) Price; one brother, Leroy Bales; eight grandchildren, Scott and Aaron Eldridge, Mark (and Jennifer) Sears, Logan, Kristina, and Travis Sears, and Jacob and Sarah Price; and five great grandchildren, Kelsey Eldridge, English Sears, Cameron Jeskewich, Nicole Richards, and Hunter Sears. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by; three brothers, Ira Scott Sears, Jr., Calvin Sears and Gordon Sears, and one sister; Margie Kesinger. "Bill" was a member of the East Somerset Baptist Church. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with burial in the Poplarville Cemetery following the services. The family of Mr. Willie D. “Bill” Sears will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family of Mr. Sears request expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the East Somerset Baptist Church Building Fund, or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
