Anna F. (Peel) Roy

Mrs. Anna F. (Peel) Roy, age 88, daughter of the late John and Delora (Hiatt) Peel was born on June 23, 1926 in Richmond, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Anna was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Eugene “Gene” Roy on July 14, 1951, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother; Frank Peel and two sisters; Ruby Peel and Agnus Brashears. Anna is survived by 4 children; John Stephen (and Deborah) Roy of Somerset, Richard Allen (and Vena) Roy of Cookeville, TN, Donald Wayne (and Dawn) Roy of Simpsonville, South Carolina, one daughter; Donna Gaye Roy Daulton of Somerset, two Grandsons; Jarred Gregory Daulton and Ryan Robert Roy, four granddaughters; Amber Brittany Roy Belcher, Amanda Elizabeth Roy, Carlee Beth Roy, Madison Reanae Roy, one great grandson; Channing James Belcher. She also leaves behind one brother; John Peel Jr. of Hamilton, OH and several nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing. Anna was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church where she loved to work in the Nursery. Private services are being conducted and burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
