Evan Ray Tindle passed away on Saturday November 22, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Evan was born April 24, 1930 to the late Lloyd David & Ruthie Ellen Anderson Tindle in Stonewall, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Bonnie Faye Irby Tindle. He was also preceded in death by his four brothers Luther, Archie, Cleo and Clinton and his two sisters Etta and Audi. Evan is survived by two children, Kathy (& Ronnie) Turner and Dennis (& Jennifer) Tindle; and 3 grandchildren, Emily Turner, Devan Tindle & Grant Tindle and several nieces and nephews. Evan was a Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church of Somerset. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U. S. Army. He worked as President and General Manager of the Kentucky & Tennessee Railway and the Big South Fork Scenic Railway. He also was an owner- partner of Stearns Golf Course. He was an avid golfer and fisherman who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was dedicated to lovingly and tenderly caring for his true love, Bonnie. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Pendley officiating. The family of Mr. Evan Ray Tindle will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday afternoon until time for services. It is requested by the family, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of Contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with all arrangements for Mr. Evan Tindale.
