Mrs. Garnet Mae Stewart Flynn, daughter of the late Paul and Agnes Stewart, was born in Attica, Indiana October 4, 1922 and she departed this life Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, Kentucky having attained the age of 92 years.
She was untied in marriage to Mr. Leland Hershell Flynn on February 10, 1940 in Terra Haute, Indiana, he preceded her in death.
Survivors include; four daughters, Bernice Gholson of Somerset, Kentucky, Donna (and Charlie) Brown of Crestwood, Kentucky, Carolyn (and Max) Hughes of Somerset, Kentucky and Charlotte (and Ron) Addington of Prospect, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; one surviving sister, Marge Ridge of Lafayette, Indiana and a half-sister and some half-brothers also of Indiana. She was a loving person and will be greatly missed by a host of relatives and friends.
She was employed by Somerset City Hospital, Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and Fazolli’s.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home, 165 Hwy 2227, Somerset, Kentucky 42503. Bro. David Pendley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Norfleet Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Garnet Mae Flynn will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services at noon.
