Flora Thelma (Foust) McKee

Mrs. Flora Thelma (Foust) McKee, daughter of the late Marion and Isabellie (Worley) Foust was born in Fidelity, Kentucky on April 20, 1914 and departed this life on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at her residence in Burnside, Kentucky in the presence of her family. Mrs. Mckee was united in marriage on March 5, 1932 to Mr. Brady McKee, whom after 41 years of marriage departed her to be with the Lord on January 17, 1974. Mrs. Flora McKee is survived by six children; Morris, Sherrill, Larry, Stephen, Garry (and Anna) Mckee all of Sloans Valley, Kentucky and Lynn (and Iris) McKee of Eagle River, Alaska. Mrs. McKee also leaves behind 24 Grandchildren, 64 Great Grandchildren, and 39 Great-Great Grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews who all will mourn her passing. Besides her Parents and Husband, Flora was preceded in death in February 1938 by one Daughter; Joyce Mckee. Mrs. McKee was the oldest member of the Sloans Valley Baptist Church, a Housewife, and a loving Mother. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Miller Sr. officiating. The family of Mrs. McKee will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 6-9p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Sloans Valley Cemetery in Burnside, Kentucky.
