Virginia Meece

Mrs. Virginia Goff Meece, a lifelong resident of Pulaski County, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in Somerset, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband; Mr. Thurman E. Meece, with whom she fell in love with at the age of nine. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana (and Ed) Barnes of Owensboro, Kentucky and Rita (and Joby) Gossett of Nancy, Kentucky; a granddaughter, Shelly (and Darmon) Bidwell; two great grandchildren, Dylan and April; three great great grandchildren, Jayden, Jackson and Jamison; and a life long friend, Joanne Goff. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. David Baker and Rev. Dudley Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnside Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Virginia Goff Meece will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014.
